Brad Kremer has been a staple snowboard filmmaker for longer than many of the riders on the Nike team have been alive, and even he was wowed by the setting for the Park Chapter of the Nike Snowboarding Project. “I’ve seen a lot of amazing parks in my days, but I have to say that what they built at Montafon for Nike was at the top of the list,” he said. The crew of Sage Kotsenburg, Louie Vito, Gjermund Braaten, Jamie Nicholls, Danny Kass, Ethan Morgan, Jan Scherrer, Peetu Piiroinen and Austin Smith were let loose at Silvretta Montafon in Austria and this chapter is where you’ll really see the limits of what is possible on a snowboard pushed. For Kremer though, it was not just about progression. “This project actually brought me back to my roots,” he explained. “It’s a little more on the raw side compared to what I have been doing lately. A polished raw, of course. I think that’s why the end result is so fun.”
