Canada’s Max Parrot won his second World Cup gold in three days Saturday night in Quebec City, topping the snowboard Big Air podium ahead of compatriot Tyler Nicholson. Parrot, of Bromont, Quebec, scored 192.25 to the North Bay native’s 179.50. Ryan Stassel of the United States finished with bronze. Antoine Truchon, another Canadian, finished fourth.
Parrot also won gold Thursday inside Boston’s iconic Fenway Park, which was converted into a World Cup ski and snowboard Big Air venue for the weekend.
Jamie Anderson of the United States won the women’s competition in Quebec City, scoring 178.75. Canada’s Jenna Blasman finished ninth, scoring 61.50. Her teammate Brooke Voigt finished 11th with 47.25.
