Snowboarder Rappels From Sunshine Village Chairlift

More than 100 skiers, snowboarders were forced to climb down a ski lift after the lift got stuck at Banff Sunshine Village, a ski resort in Alberta.

Dangling high up in the air with only one foot attached to a chairlift, a snowboarder is seen floating in the air, grasping as he was forced to rappel down from a broken chairlift at Banff Sunshine Village, a ski resort in Alberta.

This snowboarder is just one of the 110 skiers and snowboarders who were evacuated off the chairlift, named Goat’s Eye Express, due to a “failure of the main gearbox,” according to Sunshine Village’s Facebook page.
